I can’t say I’ve ever been a fan of April blizzards, that is unless you’re talking about ice cream. Unfortunately, there is no ice cream involved in this post. I have to admit, when I woke up Saturday morning at my in-laws to FOUR inches of snow I was really bummed. I’m a sunshine and Chacos kind of girl who lives for warm breezes and summer nights around campfires. Last Saturday, the temperature was just right allowing the heavy snow to cover the soggy spring woods turning it into a beautiful winter wonderland. Jonathan and I bundled up, got the puppies and went for a long hike deep into what Jonathan calls Dark Hollow. Jonathan and his family have hunted, camped and enjoyed these woods for many years. Isn’t it absolutely beautiful in a blanket of snow!?
