A Weekend in Philadelphia

Jonathan and I headed to Philadelphia early Saturday morning with my Mom and sister.  They asked us several weeks ago if we wanted to tag along for the weekend while they attended a conference.  I’m ALWAYS up for a road trip and neither one of us had been to Philly, so it was a win win!  I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed Old Town Philadelphia, also known as the most historical square mile in the United States!  Being able to see what I learned about in History classes as a student was amazing.  The classic timeless architecture definitely stole my heart!  Seeing the row houses of Elfreth’s Alley, which were built in the late 1700’s, was my favorite part of Old Town! If you’ve never visited Philly, I highly recommend it!
